The Inland Empire Genealogy Club that meets on the second Saturday of the month at the Summit High School Library  will be adding  class the third Tuesday evening. The time would be 6 to 8.  The both classes of course are open to the public.  We will be discussing how to search the census, DNA, how to use genealogy and historical websites.  We’re planning an educational trip to the National Archives in Riverside, down town Los Angeles city Library which has approximately one million books and microfilm and a trip to the southern California Genealogy Society in Burbank.

Genie dances for one and all

Oh, the fun we had today Karen broke thru a wall now knows the grandmothers maiden name and that she was married twice.

Darrell got serious and went on a obituary hunt, after a lot of running around he had forgot the county buildings are closed on Friday,  so off he went to the library in Riverside and yes, he found 3 cousins he didn't even know he had in the obituary. Now just to track them down so he can touch bases with them.

Linda found on one of the new Irish sites, possibly her family owned a pub in Dublin.
